Capturing the Magic of Life and the Wonder of Childhood
Ever want to live in your fairytale? ME TOO! I have lived in the Pittsburgh/Washington, Pa area all of my life. I built my studio in Claysville, Pa. in 1999. I have had a camera in my hand since high school and over the years I did High school senior portraits, newborn photos, and children's photography. But most recently, I have wanted to create and capture the magic and wonder of childhood in fine art portraits. Yeah, sure just about EVERYONE these days can take a picture. Lots of people do. BUT...does it bring a tear to your eye or give you goosebumps everytime you look at it? Think about it, C'mon, REALLY think about it.
Look at the photographs on your walls...
Do they make your heart sing?
Make you want to tear up?
Or even go give your children a hug?
Ready for that beautiful heirloom portrait of your newborn or child? Give Pittsburgh, Pa Photographer Shari Brownlee a call to discuss your next family heirloom art piece.
"As a mom of three children myself, I know what it's like. It's hard to get out the door, ESPECIALLY on picture day!! Don't worry. I'm here to help. I have clothing in the studio, diapers, wipes, water in the fridge, toys in the toy box and tissue boxes everywhere!! DON'T stress. JUST get here. I'll take care of the rest. Well, bath your child at least. Life is crazy enough, don't stress about the small stuff. Just come on in, sit down and relax. I'll play with the kids for awhile while I create amazing portraits of them. We don't want them to stress out either. We want the to come and have fun. They won't even realize they are having portraits made!! You and I will have chatted over the phone a few days before the session and have gone over all of the details."
Some things to think about:
Where you want to display the portrait?
What are the colors in the room?
What's the decor of the room?
Whether or not you are looking for a grouping of images or one substantial sized portrait for the wall?
Outfits and wether you are using one of mine or bringing your own?
Are we going to a location, staying in the studio or walking around outside here on studio grounds?
Our studio is located on a farm with real live ponies and horses. We DO have a resident unicorn that lives here too and he will sometimes make special appearances with his unicorn horn. If you can TELL me his name, you receive a gift with your portrait order. Hmm... there is a hint in this paragraph.
